Volunteering for these events can be used towards Community Hours you can also volunteer on School breaks. If you are looking for some volunteering in general whether you have an hour or a few. If you can spare a day or a couple of days a week or even a month consider volunteering with us.

Volunteer Positions

 The Intake Clerk

●       Greeting Clients.

●       Process and record the client information

●       Answer telephone and record messages.

Pantry Worker.

●       Accepting and recording Food Donations

●       Sort and shelf all food donations in their respective locations

●       Determine what food should be discarded

●       Food orders for clients requesting delivery service.

●       Packing food items

●       Clean and organize the work area.     

Client Shopper.

●       Assist Clients to do their shopping.

●       Records on the Client grocery list.

●       Restocking the front shelves.

Special Events/Food Drives

●       Help unload donations from food drives.

●       Unpack and sort donations.

●       Shelf pantry items when able.

●       Assist with photos if needed.

●       Assist with Special Events when needed.

Drivers

●       Assist with picking up/dropping off product. These orders can be in Brockville, Kingston and locally in the Gananoque Area.
